3/4/2023 0 Comments Mac os mouse for windows![]() How is an older Mac smoother? I’d like to assume it’s got something to do with Mac being directly hooked up to their screens, not to mention, not publicly stating the response times for their screens and monitors (as far as I know), so could it just be good optimization? ![]() (but it isn’t necessarily how quickly the mouse is, but rather how it floats and moves around) The monitor I use for that however is a 4k LG monitor rated at 60hz and a response time of a scary 8ms. What am I comparing to? My 2019 Dell XPS with a dedicated rtx graphics card. So obviously Apple did something right behind the scenes? ![]() The entire way of navigation throughout computers has been through the mouse, obviously depending on the use case. The cursor movement is undoubtedly better than windows. I’ve tested this on a Late 2009 iMac running High Sierra and my personal Late 2011 Macbook Pro running Mountain Lion to High Sierra. Firstly I’d like to explain what I mean by ‘smooth’ - rather, when you move the cursor around your screen, notice the movement, how it “floats” around the screen.
